Cancellation and Rebooking Policy

At Studio Dental, we strive to provide efficient and timely care for all our patients. Our priority is to ensure the best possible patient experience, including minimal wait times. One of the ways we achieve this is by operating a single-booking system, guaranteeing you dedicated time to be seen - We value your time.
Unfortunately, late arrivals, last-minute cancellations, and no-shows significantly impact our ability to effectively serve our patients. We currently have a long waiting list for appointments, and these missed slots prevent others in need from accessing care.
To ensure that we can continue to be effective and efficient, we have implemented the following policy:
Late Arrivals: Patients who are more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment time may be treated as a no-show and may have their appointment rescheduled accordingly.
Cancellation Penalty: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.00. This helps us recoup some of the lost opportunity to serve another patient.
Rescheduling Priority: Appointments cancelled with short notice or missed entirely may not receive priority when rescheduling. You may be placed on the waiting list based on general availability.
Deposits for Future Appointments: In some cases, we may require a deposit to secure future appointments, particularly for those with a history of short-notice cancellations or no-shows.
These measures allow us to maintain a smooth-running practice and prioritise patients who value their appointments.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. Please notify us as soon as a challenge arises which can make you late for or miss your appointment. This gives us a chance to potentially work a bit of scheduling magic. However, if we have little to no notice, it becomes very difficult and allows limited flexibility.
